Welcome to Topaz Dance Academy

Hello and a very warm welcome to Topaz Dance Academy. We are an innovative dance school based in Welling, Charlton and Bexleyheath and are dedicated to teaching a wide range of styles to girls and boys aged 3 - 18, and adults of all ages.

Our styles include Cheerleading, Disco/Freestyle and Jazz, incorporating Street, Hip Hop and Breakdance. We also provide classes in Ballet, Tap and Modern dance that work towards Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (I.S.T.D.) grades.

We are committed in ensuring quality training is provided for all students, within a fun, friendly and caring environment. And for parents peace of mind, it's worth knowing that all of our staff are fully CRB checked.

We believe that dance provides children with skills for life by encouraging a healthy lifestyle, self discipline and a positive way to express themselves. By learning new skills in dance, they develop confidence, personal style, strength, stamina and flexibility as well as coordination and rhythm.

In order for parents/guardians to see how their children are developing in class, we hold an open day at the end of each term. Every student is awarded with a certificate of achievement. It also provides a great opportunity to invite other family members and friends along, giving students a real sense of performance.

Annual shows and competitions are also held, giving students a platform to showcase their skills and gain a sense of achievement.
